UNCUT GEMS Review (Spoiler free) 2019

Today I am going to talk about spoiler free review of Uncut Gems movie, let's see what is special in this film which is released on Netflix, because of which you should watch this film or not.

Now let's talk about the film because the opinions of the critics and people about this film does not match at all.This film is not able to affect the audience as much as the critics are liking it, which we can see clearly on the rating of rotten tomatoes, where the film has been rated 92 percent by the critics. The audience score is 52 percent of this film, if you talk about IMDB, then this film has been rated 7.8 , which will obviously make people a bit confused as to what is in the actual film.

Well, I personally liked what was shown in this 2 hour and 15 minute film,  the film has been directed by the Safdie Brothers, who earlier had the best film of their career 'Good Times' was made in the year 2017, so these are directors who make a lot of different concept films in their careers and all the films run on a fast phase.

The director of the film wants him to explain the story to the people but in a slightly in fast phase which this time fits perfectly for the film like UNCUT GEMS. This film is in very fast phase even if the runtime of the film is two hours and fifteen minutes. Apart from this, as the two things in film the characters, and the beginning part of the film makes us fully understand that this film is also very loud with its fast phase.

So maybe a few people will be disturbed by the fact that what's in the film going on and what is the meaning of the film being shown to them, but as the film keeps growing, we get to see quite different shades in the film. 

SUMMARY

The entire focus of the story is focused on the film's lead actor Howard as the story of the entire film is based on him, Howard is a jeweler who has a lot of high profile clients and he always try something different about his business. In fact Howard is always ready to take risks regarding his business and in the midst of all this, Howard also has the habit of gambling, which proves to be a big trouble for him somewhere because the borrower does not give up his chase whenever the borrower faces him instead of giving money to them, he only talk about his big things, due to which they also beat him and sometimes they are stripped naked and locked him in a car trunk but despite all, Howard keeps his life from all those troubles and continues.

Howard's character is shown greedy in this film .Howard make a balance between his profession and his family. also , Howard has an affair with Julia working at his shop.
This is the first film of Julia Fox and you cannot guess this thing by watching the film, because her performance is very natural in the film and you will love her character.

CAST AND PERFORMANCE

Everyone is aware of Adam Sandler playing the role of Howard's character that most of them are seen only in comedy films because of which he is my most favorite hero in comedy films but it is not that adam sandler in his career only he has done comedy films, Sandler has also worked in some serious films in his career, and it is clear from those films that Adam Sandler is an actor that if you want a different acting then definitely they will do it very well

His performance in this film is excellent and when we talk about the rest of the casting, we also see Lakeith Stanfield, who does not have that much screen time, in addition to this, basketball player Kevin Garnett is also seen giving his good performance which his acting  seems too natural and who can forget the cameo of The Weeknd and also the actress Pom Klementieff, who is playing the mantis in the marvel's universe, seems to be absolutely absent and Idina Menzel is the last actress.

Everyone's performance has not been much special in the film because everyone has been given very less screen time.The focus of the entire film is more on the three characters.

Talk about the direction of this film, the direction of this film is also excellent and along with that the editing and BGM of the film has been used in the film in a good way, the BGM of the film is a bit loud.

WHY SHOULD YOU WATCH THIS FILM?

This film is a crime drama in which what is going to happen next, you can guess it very well till the first and second half of the film, but after the third act, the film changes completely and the end will be completely surprising. This film has been made very far from its concept and the way in which this film is written and directed and shown to us is very unique.

This is the reason why I have given a rating directly to this film, now I will tell you here on the go, or UNCUT GEMS is such a film, you should watch it once if you do all these things too much keeping in mind. If you sit down to watch this film without thinking, it will not taste like much and you will find this film just a normal film, well it was my opinion about uncut gems
